GIRLS DO THINGS

International community for women, based in Nuremberg, Germany. We believe difference is a strength, not a barrier. The community is for every woman who has ever moved places and is building her life from scratch, whether she came for work, study or love.
HOW IT STARTED
Hey, we are Ksenia and Rimma, founders of Girls Do Things and expats ourselves. We both moved to Nuremberg, Germany for work in 2023. Work gave us colleagues and a routine, but not friends or a sense of home. We soon realised many women who moved for work, study or love felt the same: the hardest part wasn't the paperwork, but building a social life from zero.

In early 2025 we started Girls Do Things around a simple idea: connection comes more easily when you are doing something together. Real-life events where women can meet, try new things and support each other through a new chapter.
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to help women who move to Germany feel at home faster. Through regular events, cultural exchange and a supportive network, we help women of all backgrounds make friends, find their way around a new city, and build full lives beyond work.
